The Hoi - Coffee House
An eclectic and cosy space with art deco and retro influences, The Hoi - Coffee House is a place for art and music lovers to gather over coffee, work and create.
Featured on the walls is local, national and international art, with a regularly cycled local artist spotlight.
The playlist is as carefully curated as the decor and coffee beans. With the rhythmic drowls of Bob Dylan, and the goopy strums of Jimi Hendrix's guitar vibrating through the air. The space pays homage to 60s & 70s folk, soul and rock and Australian indie and alternative music.
We're proud to source our coffee beans from Single O, a sustainable practice Australian coffee roasting company. Our love for coffee is showcased through the care we put into each cup we make for our customers. We are after all a coffee house, so naturally, the coffee is the star of the show.
Meet the owner
My name is Bessie, and I’m incredibly excited to be the new owner of The Hoi - Coffee House!
I have collected a myriad of retro, art deco and antique pieces to honour the heritage beginnings of the building and to reflect my eclectic taste. This furniture, decor and art has been sourced locally, nationally and internationally, and holds many stories.
My goal is to provide a space for art and music lovers to catch up over a cup of coffee, read, study or work. I will also be featuring local artists, rotating exhibitions and works completely free of charge (if you’re interested please flick me a message.)
