About The Hoi

The Hoi is a boutique heritage event venue located inside the historic Howard Smith Building on Flinders Street in Townsville City.

Reimagined in 2025, The Hoi was created as a warm and character-filled space for intimate celebrations, high teas, micro weddings, private events and memorable gatherings.

Our venue brings together heritage architecture, thoughtful styling and genuine hospitality. From bridal showers and baby showers to small weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and long-table celebrations, The Hoi is designed for occasions that feel personal, beautiful and connected.
